The Workshop-Expo is
organized so that they can weave, during
the entire event, different ways of
communication with which each author
interprets the theme on
“the feminine and the imaginary”.
It will be possible to exhibit or present
works or contents in the following
categories:
models
of women's fashion, short films, dances,
paintings, drawings, photographs, graphic
works, art installations, literary
passages, music passages, poems,
psychoanalytic and psycho-anthropological
essays, sculptures, theatrical subjects.
Expo
(in total 40 works):
fashion clothes (eventually through model),
paintings, photographs, graphics, art
installations, sculptures will be
exhibited for the duration of the event.
Each author can present a maximum of two
works.
Workshops (in total 40 contents):
relatively to the other forms of
presentation (short films, dances,
literary passages, music passages, poems,
psychoanalytic and psycho-anthropological
essays, theatrical subjects) each author
will have up to 20 min.

The Itinerant
Seminar “L’IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO” has until now had its
epicenter in Marsala
so valorizing with its original formula the
main archaeological sites in the province of Trapani, but it intends to
expand its research and training activities
through the individuation, in Italy and
elsewhere, in Europe, of some places that can
become a possible destination of the typical
run that characterizes this cultural and
scientific event.
The Itinerant
Seminar “L’IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO” - that is organized, in collaboration with the Scientific Journal Psicologia
Dinamica and the association THE
SCHOOL OF “L’IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO”, by the Cooperative Society
Fenorabia
Group Europe
that is authorized to use the copyright - was
born in second half of 1990 after I had the
good fortune to know the Roman psychoanalyst Bianca Garufi and by means of her I
approached the Jungian world as a teaching
supervision. Bianca
Garufi had Sicilian
parents and she was remained very attached to
the land that had her given human and cultural
matrices. So the Itinerant
Seminar “L’IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO” was born from the Garufi’s
love for Sicily
and from my desire to valorize Marsala
and the province of Trapani
through an event that was both cultural and
scientific.

Certainly it has been
essential the support given to the organization
of the event by the Superintendence
for
Cultural and Environmental Goods of Trapani and the participation of illustrious experts in
cultural heritage such as Rossella Giglio, Leïla
Ladjïmi Sebaï,

Grazia Griffo, Anna
Occhipinti, besides of accredited
members of the art world including the actress Carla Tatò, the director Carlo
Quartucci, the painter Vito Linares, the poet Antonino Contiliano, finally of various representatives of the
political-cultural world such as Hon. Leoluca
Orlando and Sen Antonio

From 2005 onwards the Itinerant Seminar “L’IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO” more and more has
established connections, as well as with the
dynamic psychology and the psycho-anthropology,
also with the world of the Muses,
and especially with those group techniques that
use the bodily expression and the creative
expression, the world of colors, music, poetry,
dance. One particular development has been
given to the world of the theater especially
with the staging of original works created
specifically for being represented right in the
original historical places of the dramatic
narration. The realization of these
representations has benefited from the talents
of some young first-class actors: Luisa Caldarella,
Melania Genna, Gianfranco Manzo, Luana
Rondinelli and Andrea Scaturro (also in the function of
director).
“L”IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO”: “The Yaphna’s
Ship” (9° Itinerant Seminar), “The
Luana’s Moon” (8° Itinerant Seminar),
“The Tabaah’s Sacred Tophet” (7°
Itinerant
Seminar).
The
Itinerant
Seminar
“L”IMMAGINARIO SIMBOLICO” is
a “trademark” event also for the
originality of its the characteristics that
distinguish it: “a)
a series of seminars in
itinerant way, whose ongoing happens
directly in some places that we can consider
“symbolic” in relation to the “cultural
matrixes of the Historical Self”, mythology,
folklore;
b) psycho-anthropological
elaboration in a group context, with a development
experiential “working in progress”;
c) no prearranged
themes for leaving space to the
fluctuating thought, the free associations and
to the “imaginal” world, stimulated by the
suggestive places where the seminars occur;
d) a
particular model of conduction:
multiple by chairpersons of various
geographical origin and cultural belonging, and in a soft way, that
is not-directive”

The research
carried on by the “L”IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO” is rooted
on the following assumptions:
·
Whatever has a symbolic valence transcends
the objective reality for assuming an obscure
sense but universally significant since it
produces a continuous impulse to interpretation
that is essential to the Self and Other
understanding;
- Also
very different from each other cultures can
find points of agreement through a joint
study and analysis of myths, symbols, “imago”
on which the cultural
matrices of the Historical Self are
based;
- The
potentiality of communication
can be increased by means of experiential
models able to create a transpersonal
and transcultural “short-circuit”
and to explore the “intersections”
between the two planes: psycho-ontogenetic
and psycho-phylogenetic.
Among
the fundamental operational instruments on
which this research bases, we mention the
following:
- The
direct exploration of extraordinary (or
"magical",
if it is preferable) sites relatively to
feeling, spirituality, folk tradition,
symbolical and mythological tradition;
- The use of a dynamic psycho-anthropo-analytic
model;
- The realization of a
specifically multicultural context
of meeting.
It is desirable that the City/Province-managers
are able to understand that
the organization of “trademark”
events as the
Itinerant Seminar “L”IMMAGINARIO
SIMBOLICO” can be an
important
way of the localism
to survive to globalism, to
retain its own function, specific character and
identity in the global village,
with decisive advantages for
all the sector of the local economy (see
